Putting Our Money Where our Dicks Are!

For the better part of 4 years, Matt and I have dedicated our own personal time, and our own personal money to make The Muscle Mafia happen.  We continue to expand on a daily basis. Those that have bought our earlier best selling DVDs (classics) and our most recent block buster releases can clearly see that we have made HUGE advancements in the quality of our productions and customer service.  You have also seen the rapid increase of our buddies who show up on our sites.

We are not a multi-million dollar HUGE production house, although we have the potential to be and our DVDs compete with multi-million dollar companies, we are just a few guys who are taking our own money and what little profit we make to expand this organization one day at a time.  We are in production on 40 DVDs and counting, this does not include all the shoots, photos and videos that are posted for members behind The Red Door.  As you read this you can bet more DVDs and Red Door exclusives are in the making.

When They Stop Talking I’ll Worry

Any publicity is good publicity, right?  A good PR guy will tell you that, and frankly I agree.  I have said it before; I would be foolish to think we could please all of the people, all of the time.  But we do our very best and so far we are consistent with 93% return. What does that mean?  That means of any single DVD buyer 93% return to purchase 2 or more and continue to purchase every new release.  You love our work and find our product to be unique and far better than fake mass produced erotica.  Even straight women are buying our DVDs for their personal pleasure noting that we have the hottest guys and down to earth “real appeal”. 

Straight men from all over the world are contacting us expressing their fantasy to make a DVD with us and said they would only consider doing work for us.  That makes our guys exclusive and unseen by anyone.  Letters from straight jocks and muscle guys are very candid that they find themselves aroused when they look at our site; many others have bought our DVDs or join our Red Door and have expressed an interest in working with us in some way.  So, The Muscle Mafia and musclematt.com has a huge mass market appeal that has no boundaries when it comes to gender or sexual orientation. It is because of this mass market appeal that I have been contacted by a list of magazines who want an interview with me.  Our sites and our concept inspired a New Yorker Magazine article about “Party bi-sexuals”.  I will be posting that to the blog as well so look for that.

Ripping Us Off…NOT COOL!

While all the talk and rave reviews are motivating, there are some things that are causing us to question the future of The Muscle Mafia.  There have been some who have bought or borrowed our hard work, meaning our DVDs and have ripped them to be post for free on blogs, message boards, and anywhere else they can post.  Even after all the expense and efforts we go through to protect our copyright some have made it their mission to try and steel our content.

Anti-Worship!

Those that rip us off, and post our hard work are not our friends, not our fans and are not worshipping our muscle.  They are detracting from it, taking money from our pockets, money that is used to build and maintain not only our sites, but our bodies; money that is used to provide a safe discrete place for my buddies to show off, and get off with complete confidence.  This is not worship and it under minds our purpose and very existence.  The Muscle Mafia is a religion, a place or worship that cannot and will not exist if thieves continue to put their hands in our pockets and run off with our money.

But, as life has it, there is good and there is evil.  We have more good, with something we call our “Army”.  These are fans, followers, DVD buyers and Red Door members who police the internet, groups, blogs and boards and alert us each and every time there is a bold violation of our copyright.  We thank you for that.

So while some of those posts indeed sent traffic our way, in the end it hurts us and hurts us greatly. Here’s why, first the most obvious, we spare no expense in personal time or money to bring you the very best we can.  Apparently, our very best has caused our sites and productions to be a never ending topic of conversation, for that we smile.  However, the bold and inconsiderate ripping off of our work ruins it for everyone. There are some of our very hot buddies who will no longer shoot with us for this reason.  There are also several hours of video I have decided to trash for fear it will be stolen and posted without my permission.

Assholes Among Us.

This has profoundly affected Matt’s and my thinking about some future projects.  We know there is at least one asshole, maybe 2 in every crowd, but what some may not realize is the personal time and money we put into all of this.  To have it ripped off, stolen and posted without any consideration to our copyright and hard work angers us and hurts us in ways the go beyond making us angry.  We have never claimed to be a non-profit organization, I wish we could, however, sales, donations etc. is what keeps us funded and helps us maintain and expand our organization. 

Do I think this is going to change, no, I am not that naïve.  In a world were we can can’t even protect our children, I am not surprised such senseless, self centered people exist.  Some blogs, groups, and boards exist ONLY on the merits of others and were developed ONLY with the intent to rip off other’s photos, video and content.  I make specific clips and photos for that reason.  Again, I welcome publicity; I do not welcome the filching of our full length DVDs.

Much of our money that was ear marked for more productions and more guys has had to be diverted to attorneys and other expenses to fight these losers who do this; and fight we do.  I have had boards closed, blogs pulled, site shut down and with some IP investigation personal email accounts closed.  I will pick and choose my battles.  But again this raises the cost of operations and inflates the cost of our products which, in the end, you pay for.  So, YOU are paying to enjoy our stuff that others are stealing for free, that should anger you and cause you to fight as well. 

Whose Side Are You On?  Fight The Fight With Us Boys

I would ask that you boycott any sites, blogs and boards that are using stolen content of any kind.  Write the site owners, blog authors and administrators and tell them what a low-life thing they are doing.  Then drop an email to the sites or companies whose content are being ripped off and let them know as my “Army” has let us know.  If enough of us bond together we can pull down these sites, blogs and boards and send a message that content posted of any sort without the permission of the owner is bad internet etiquette, illegal and unforgivable, because in the end it will drive guys like me and my buddies back in hiding and all you will be stuck with are those cheap cheesy films with guys no one wants to see anyway.

Please let me know if you see any violation of our exclusive stuff, lets wipe them out so me and my buds can focus on making you better DVDs to see and get off to, after all that is what we are here for; When this is no longer fun, that is when we will say goodbye. But having said that, anyone who knows my personality by now knows I am no quitter and will go down fighting.  So, let’s not turn what is fun and erotic into something ugly.  I ask that our true loyal following I know we have watch our backs while we are busy sporting big hard-ons and popping big loads for your worship and enjoyment!
