As always shit happens here and the last several months were no exception.

The Short Answer:
For those who may not be interested in the longer story all you need to know is we are here, we been here and we are here to stay.  New releases and site updates are ready to go. I have had to redirect my energies to expanding operations here, filming, meeting potential new guys. The result is that while we are bigger and better and have much more to offer.    So look for your newsletters, blog posts and updates to our websites (musclematt.com and privatereddoor.com) with announcements.  But prepare yourself, I will probably be making up for lost time so sit back and watch it all happen.

The Long answer:
Everything Happens for a Reason, if you are interested, read on. Summer 2010 was Amazing, the rest of 2010 and going forward to 2011 will be as well. While we have certainly grown we are still just a group of gym buddies on the DL who put our experiences on video.  We rely on your muscle fund donations as well as sales to keep us going; amateur some might argue, but we run operations as if we have a staff of 40 and deliver our films in the same if not better quality than major production houses.  Matt and I look at and answer every email and handle every order. As an operation mostly run by me and Matt with a few others who phase in and phase out we will continue to change, but one thing will always remain the same and that is that this thing we call The Muscle Mafia is a closely held organization and I am the guy who heads it all. There is only so much Matt and I can do at one time; I have said often when we try to do too much we end up doing too little.  Dedication, focus and getting it done right the first time are how I prefer to work. Behind every able man are other able men; that being Matt, The Crew, and web Eddie our resident tech guru as well as our muscle funds supporters. I don’t take any of that for granted without them I would be just an asshole with a camera holding my own dick.

DVDs 56, 57 and 58 were our last 3 releases and have set new records here in all forms (DVD and online) and are right in line with the success of some of our best-selling movies to date.  That, with your comments on those and the comments to the crew's new photo albums were a great way to set the tone for all the decisions I made in the last few months.There are more like the last few releases and some even more interesting. Some were a big deal to shoot, others as raw and rough as it comes with just the camera, dashboard light and night vision. Pretty hot stuff.

Dumping The Dead Wood, and Refocusing

I have a vision for The Muscle Mafia and realized I have to either change that vision or make some necessary changes to achieve that vision. So I took a few steps back, got rid of some distractions and dead wood which included some people who were not helping me reach my vision.  Their intentions were good, but they talk too much.  I regrouped, refocused and reload. No we can grow for the next 8 -10 years.  I suspect by then I will have to do it all over again, but that’s progress! This means great things! 

So now in addition to the computers, I have bought (and am still buying) new lighting, the latest in HD Video Cameras, software, and editing equipment.  Also some pretty cool accessories that will not only give you the best quality picture but the best sound as well.  Some interesting high-tech features such as night vision and underwater cameras will make their debut in future films. I want to make a public thank you to muscle fund supporters and especially “Rich” a long time loyal supporter who flew here to New York to deliver his muscle fund donations in person.  He was able to meet the crew, hang out with us and even watch a film in the making! I won’t bore you with any more “tech-talk” but trust me its good stuff, you can just about smell us and see the veins throbbing on our hard cocks as we use and abuse cock suckers.
When all is said and done, we can even offer some movies on Blue Ray Disc; pretty fucking cool!  But there was and still is a huge learning curve; remember it’s only me doing the filming, editing, websites, photography, etc. So I am in competition with only myself I don’t concern myself with haters, copycat sites, or muscle mafia wanna-be’s.  I only concern myself with being better than myself, whatever the outcome; it is what it is. 

Judging from your relentless and loyal demand for more of our exclusive movies you like what I / we have done so far, and if so, you’re going to like us even better as all our hard work this summer begins to be seen.   
So, new releases both on DVD and for download are in the works right now, also the introduction of new crew members and other products as well.  Not to mention at least 20- 30 hours, (I don’t know lost count) of unseen video footage that I am pulling from our vaults and getting ready for release.

We are back, reloaded and better. Next post this week is all about summer 2010, the guys, the movies, situations and some set drama. And after that get set to make some purchases because some of these films both just shot and pulled from the vault are about to drop.
